Danny, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele back in contention for starting spots while Lamela marks his one year gone missing anniversary (still not ready). Would expect a mix of starters and second team players for this match at Wembley. Afternoon beverages at Flannery's are highly recommended for all you boys and girls.

Is this match being televised.  Couldn't find any listing on Spectrum.

it's going to be on ESPN3 if you have that service.

Wow that was a nightmarish reminder of the bad old days...cruising against a limited side, taking the foot off the pedal completely and made to pay heavily. Very poor performance by everyone honestly, not much to say, thank god its just the league cup, but poch will get a nice reminder that he hasn't achieved anything yet and him and this team really shouldn't get overconfident at any point.

Yeah, that was shameful no matter what the competition. Not a professional showing in the second half. More upset than I'd usually be about exiting the EFL, and this very well could have been our best shot at silverware this season.

Not a fan of the substitutions. If we're going to take it serious enough to have Dele and Alderweireld play the whole match while heading into Old Trafford, Eriksen should be coming off that bench as soon as it was 2-2 and give him a full 30 minutes to take over the match. Instead, our only striker is taken off the pitch for Dembele...and we spend a good portion of the rest of the match lobbing balls into the box.

Been few and far between, but this was a substantial managerial slip up by Poch, to publicly announce the EFL doesn't mean much to us put him in a compromising position as he had lost the right to admonish his team for the 2nd half performance Lesson learnt for him I hope, should only make him better.

To this, I would add: Knowing not to keep your best player/only proven striker on the pitch into the 89th minute when you're up 4-1 at home and headed into a key stretch with a cup match (wouldn't have started but you want him available on the bench), Old Trafford, and Real Madrid. Hat trick be damned; it's not worth the injury risk. And in that instance, why not give Llorente 10-15 minutes against a Swiss cheese back line to score his first PL goal?

More I think about it, that Dembele-for-Llorente sub was more with an eye toward the Utd match than the match at hand; saves a bit of Llorente for Saturday, and helps gets Dembele in playing shape for same.

And don't get any of this twisted; I'd gladly sign off on Poch for the next 10 years.

No Kane for Sunday :( pack the midfield and play with powderpuff Son on top or use Llorente for the hold up and Alli more advanced? Mind you I am not convinced that Llorente is YET up to the standard we need him to be.
